365 Days Challenge - "Just a fraction" Day 260
I just happen to find out this digi and thinking something to try out. I am fascinated with the birds on top of the snowfall tree. I just had a short conversation with Annie about myeslf that I was 'lost' in the craft world a while as I was too busy. Then I quickly came out with an idea like below , another Christmas card challenge that I stamped (the sentiment)s and together with digi (bicycle and tree with birds) as per the Day 260 challenge.
Thanks for staying up and reading my blog. I am always welcome your comments in my blog. Your support comments and view will always spark my interest.
Put some glitters on top of the trees.

it's been a long time...
It has been about more than 2 weeks that I havent participated in any challenge. Well, too busy with my full time job that I need to concentrate otherwise, how can I fund myself for this lovely hobby. Yet, I am slightly sick but crafty stuff will always bring up my cheer for the day. Anyway, I decided to go for this last minute challenge, Pixie Dust Paperie the 1st challenge in October 2010. This card follows the 'Scrap-lift' concept which I took from lots of scraps left over and make a gift tag that can be in any occasion. I am inspired with Kirsty Vittytoe's card with a lady's gown that wraps and sewed nicely. So I use the strong pink crepe paper from my niece's school childrens' day party and make it as lace at both sides of the tag. As I always like my own handmade flowers, there you see with the light pink and purple attached in the middle of the tag with ribbon tied. Others, are the Sizzix die-cut on the leaves and 3 pieces of MS punched vintage dolly.
I am also playing the Day 250 Challenge Combo of 365 Cards with August, September and October challenge combined. The five items that I include in this card is the flower blossom in the middle that is die cut from Cuttlebug scallop, the crepe paper, punched of 2 types of MS punchers, Sizzix die-cut of leaves, ribbon and glitters on the punched vintage dolly.
This are my takes;
Focus the sentiment with cupcakes Copics colored |
focus on the middle blossom |
Thanks for staying up and happy crafting.!!

Pink Masculine Card challenge for men?
I am playing on the 'Pink Masculine Card challenge of Smidapaper' that forwarded by Cindy Lee. It is not easy to think of pinky for men. I have tried to ask my husband about the elements that he attracted to pink. I cant get any from him neither. So I tried to pick something that men can accept pink generally like just a contra colors. Like Savitri says 'Pink is a new color for black'. A tip from her. It brings me an idea of something different. Take a look at my steps to make this pinky card..for a guy.
First I use the distress method by padding the distress ink pad onto the cardstock as the sky. I use the circle cut card as to cover the top middle to make it as a moon glowing at night.
Then, I did the wet embossed effect with white embossing powder after stamped the popular Versamark. Heat using the gun.
TA DA.....here is my card done..I stick the scrapped pattern paper from the previous project. I am still picking this pattern paper because the colors are so gentle and soft that might match this card.
Awww. ...I am yawning and sleepy..it's 1am now. gotta go to bed..now..back to my weekly work again..
Thanks for reading and have your comments in my blog.

And here is my card layout for the challenge..
And here is my card layout for the challenge..
I have this sudden idea with some kind of a conversation that I had recently. I met up with two different persons about their experience in childbirth and their babies condition. I feel that I am so fortunate with my situation currently with God's blessing. Gradually, I was thinking about loving children and babies in my mind. In fact, a close friend had just recently gave birth to a baby boy. Finally, I made this card to indicate every babies born would have their mommies' most caring way because babies are so fragile.
Do share for any encounterment you had or with anyone before.
Thanks for reading and dropping by.

Early Christmas
I am playing this card for Get Sketchy #50 and the view is another side in a landscape view. I have always love Get Sketchy and I find that sometimes the layouts given are not as easy I thought.
A friend of mine gave me this wonderful pattern paper and the cardstock from Making Memories. And of course, in return, I thought of making one or more (If I have more time) and give them to her back in return.
I am so touched that she bought me plenty of cards and papers and she said she is impressed with my patience in making cards. Well, I take quite a time to make cards with getting ideas. And ladies of craft-makers, you have been giving me more inspirations.
Thanks for staying and reading my blog.

Vintage Card
I have always wanted to try to make a vintage card. Last night I was thinking about it and then I look through some blogs, and suddenly I see there is a blog that having this challenge. The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC 39 is having the 'Dublin Style'. I see there are so many talented ladies post their cards so impressively. I would love to play along, so I pick the soft colors in this challenge.
I distress the card by using chalk color. I colored the birds and flowers with Copics color. The flower scallop is punched to decorate as part of the background. I use stamp Hero Arts for the birds and flowers and background on the script; Inkadindo stamp for the left bird and the leaves as background.
Thanks for reading and staying. Happy crafting ladies! :)

Handwriting sentiments
Something happen onto my Sizzix Big Shot with the handle got stuck and cannot be rotated. I am so sad and frustrated that I have to wait for the replies from Sizzix Company about my machine. I am a careful user with no hard core, but how can this happen? I just wish that I can get fast reply from them to resolved this unwanted matter. I love embossing and never use it for cutting. I hope I will be always lucky and perfectionist with no problem and things can be solved happily. Can anyone share with me about your experiences?
Thanks for any wonderful experience shared and dropping by to read with comments. Your words make my day better.

What's World's interest now after World Cup 2010 gone?
World Cup 2010 has over now and nothing much sparkle any current issues at this moment. It was a world fever of football for the past two weeks. Even the fortune teller bird and Paul, the octupus were asked to predict the winner of World Cup 2010, and there, Paul managed to predict correctly. It's an amazing that how in the world that an octupus can predict so so accurately. Yet, Paul managed to guess so precisely for the past 6 World Cup 2010 games. Is he a God that comes out as an octupus? Or scientificly, what kind of chemical does it own? Oh, nobody knows, it was just too unusual that amazed whole wide world. Now, everybody goes back to the normal routine life.
Anyway, this is my first entry to Cardabilities at Sketch #6. I am so fond of making cards, even in my dream during my sleep is on ..well quite frequent. So I play with my new Hero Arts stamp (one of my favourite stamps range) with Martha Stewart edge heart punch and decorative scissors. I also did one red stretch line of hand sewing, not easy and really takes so much of labour time, ooohh. However, I felt that at least something 'real' appear on this card..with a real string, and I felt so complete with it.
So here it is with my card for my colleague who is leaving soon . Gotta get working now otherwise I will not finish my 'must' job then. Thanks for dropping by and do come again.
