Remember this....

Wow, it is a last minute for me to enter this challenge in Papier http://papierlove.blogspot.com/. My computer was hang and got stuck and I finally manage to upload at last minute and the time is about 1245am now Mar, 1.

Anyway, this theme is not really the LoveDovey Theme but it is a picture of a good friend and is very closed to us. My little William likes to be with him and plays a lot with this kind of big brother.

So I took the challenge as a guide to come out a transparency photo frame for him and to give him as a small gift with memory.  I made it quite a simple one with few embellishments as the stamping border frame of the swirls has taken nearly most of the frame. 

Though if I dont get a chance to win this challenge, but I truly would want to share this method of framing photo that can be very fun as well with having great treasure the moment with him, Frank Lee.

Wedding Card

I am getting impressed with the Caardvarks Challengehttp://caardvarks.blogspot.com/ about wedding card.  Now it is the new year of 2010 and definitely many people have plans to get married in this new decade.

I am using soft cinamon Versa Color chalk ink to be the only color besides plain white. The background is embossed by the Cuttlebug Embossing template called Victoria. The stamps used are from mixutre of Hero Arts (butterfly, two hearts, background) and the sentiment of 'Wedding' (Making Memories).

Just a simple scrap layout for my little son..
You should be familiar with the stamps, Hero Arts 2009, Kaiser pattern paper, puncher scallop round and border from EK Success, Fiskar Apron lace puncher and Versa color ink. Not to forget I place and fold little ribbon and glitters on this layout.

Eight Happiness...

 

 

This year's Chinese New Years falls the same as Valentine's Day. It is going to be great for lovers and couples to celebrate this wonderful day. Red romantic with full of happiness. I am in a festive CNY mood, so I create a card something relates to these two occasions. I called it Éight Happiness with red pairs of hearts. I have always fascinated with Taylor's sketch and decided to follow the Taylors Expression Sketch Challenge #98.
I was quite busy with my preparations of CNY and did some spring cleaning, buying some food and drinks and many more. But I will never ever forget about cards...
Wow, it is another year of TIGER.....this reminds me of the song ''Eye of the Tiger"..the eighty's ..

It must be love

Valentine day is reaching near and it is just a month away. This card is made upon a request from a friend who is in love and just started to get to know his new girlfriend. So he wants me to make something pinkish red romantic card , so here it is.. I also just happened to find out from the blog called 'The Card'http://northridgemedia.net/blogs/cards/ Challenge that is closing on the 15th Jan 2010 that is just a day difference. Hi I am back again with my cardmaking again and it's year 2010. Time really flies fast and we are in another decade of 21th century. Anyway, I am making this card in line with the sketch of http://www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com/Taylor Expressions Challenge #97. It is indeed very simple nice sketch and I love it.  I making this for my long time friend that I will be meeting her tomorrow.
I hope you all will enjoy the year of 2010 with lots  of challenge to be faced later. Be strong and never give up if any difficutly encounterment.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.....

I am on long vacation now with my family in Australia, so I am not be able to make cards. However, I have been always viewing and visiting some of my favorite websites. I visited some craft shops in Australia and they looked wonderful and interesting.

Christmas in Australia is different from Malaysia. The air in Melbourne is so dry, the weather is changeable anytime in a day and day after the next day. It turns easily from 24 degree to 39 degree or vice-versa on the next day.

I will be back to my daily life in January 2010. Wow, it is gonna be another year. Time flies fast...So I will be in making cards in year 2010. More inspirations that I got to get here now...So Merry Christmas and a very Happy new Year to you, go and get new resolution for the new year then!!
